St. Bernard's Summer Math Program

All St. Bernard's students preparing to enter Kindergarten through eighth grades participate in our Summer Math program. The program consists of math curriculum that students have previously learned and is designed to help them retain basic computation and arithmetic skills during summer break. Each grade has its own requirements and curriculum for Summer Math. Students will be using either IXL or ALEKS to complete their Summer Math requirement. Both programs are web-based and can be accessed from any computer that has Internet access. Both programs require a username and password, which were sent home with each student in May.

Grading & Recognition

All students will receive a grade for their Summer Math work. Those who meet certain requirements will also be recognized at a Monday morning assembly at the beginning of the new school year. The charts below show specific grading guidelines and recognition requirements for each grade.
